
The First Graders had fun celebrating the 100th Day of School with some fun activities. They made a 100’s Day Hat, stacked 100 cups, made a marshmallow structure, counted 100 blocks and made a design using 100 shapes. What a fun way to celebrate the 100th Day of School!




Kindergartners in Mrs. Michell’s class did a scarf dance during the Queen’s Quest at the end of our Kings and Queens Unit.

A 4th Grader in Mrs. Truscott’s Class made the Impossible Shot on Friday…and guess what?… It was also his birthday! What a fun surprise birthday present to himself! Congratulations!


Last week, Kindergarten finished their Kings and Queens Knowledge Unit with a couple of fun activities provided to them by the district arts specialist, Mrs. Brockbank. Thank you Mrs. Brockbank for providing us with the supplies we used to make our own crowns as well as helping us use dance, movement, and music to complete the "Queen's Quest."


Mrs. Nielson’s 5th Grade Class takes the Spirit Day Trophy with 81%. Congratulations! Any other class want to give them a run for their money for the Pizza Party?


Mrs. Nielson’s 5th Grade Class continues to take the Spirit Day Trophy. Last Friday, her class won it again with 95% of the class wearing Red or Cherry Creek attire. Congratulations!


Just a reminder that Martin Luther King Jr/Civil Rights day is Monday, January 20th. It is a school holiday. See you back at school on Tuesday, January 21st.


Just a reminder, tonight is Cherry Creek’s Spirit Night at Zupas Cafe in Spanish Fork. When you place your order, tell the cashier you are there to support Cherry Creek. Part of the proceeds from the evening will go to Cherry Creek’s PTA.


A 4th Grader in Mrs. Deardeuff’s class saved up enough Croc Cash to buy Mrs. Darrington’s chair for a day. What a comfy way to spend a day in school!


Wow! Mrs. Nieson’s 5th Grade class is motivated! All of the students in her class wore RED or Cherry Creek attire to take the Spirit Day trophy for this week. Congratulations! Sounds like this class wants to win the pizza party!


Just before the break, we held a Victory assembly where our WIG’s progress was revealed and the Top Crocs and Leaders of the Month were announced. Congratulations to all those who were honored at the assembly!



Just before the Christmas break, a 1st Grader in Mrs. Anderson’s class made the Impossible Shot! Congratulations!

Deck the Halls with Christmas artwork! Christmas time is fun at Cherry Creek. It’s so fun to see all the different Christmas artwork decorate the halls of the school.


Ms. Christensen’s 2nd Grade Class had a Design Your Own Ugly Sweater Contest. Here’s a picture of all the entries, with the winners getting a ribbon.


Cherry Creek students were given the assignment to work in pairs to make a bird. No rules and no restrictions. Here’s what they created. A big Cherry Creek Croc shoutout to Natalie at Making Space Thrift in Springville for making this project possible. Magic Mike Hamilton came to Cherry Creek to wow us with his magic and give us a lesson on the Power to Choose. He used many of our Cherry Creek Crocs to help with his magic tricks. His message was choosing our words wisely. The words we use matter…it can build someone up or they could be hurtful. Saying kind things and being nice to each other is a simple thing we can do everyday…even a simple gesture like a smile can make a difference.
