3rd Grade Crocs are Talented! Yesterday, 3rd Graders showed off their various talents at their Talent Show. There were artists, singers, musicians, magicians and more. Thanks for sharing your talents and helping others to think about new skills to explore and excel at.

Today, Author Mike Knudson came to visit Mrs. Truscott's fourth grade class. We read his Raymond and Graham series as a class and were fortunate enough to be able to have a visit from him! He is Annie Knudson's Grandfather! We had so much fun learning about how he wrote his books and what his writing process is! He even brought a new book for each student in our class!

At Wednesday nights School Board meeting, Mrs. Truscott was recognized as Cherry Creek’s Teacher of the Year. We are fortunate to have Mrs. Truscott’s as a teacher here at Cherry Creek. She loves her students and works hard to help students be the best they can be. Congratulations!

The ABC Countdown has begun for 1st Grade: A is for Animal. Lots of fun animals showed up to celebrate the day!

This week, Mrs. Jensen’s class takes the Spirit Day Trophy with 93% of the class wearing RED or Cherry Creek attire. Congratulations!

Calling out all graduating seniors that were formerly Cherry Creek Crocs…you’re invited to come take one last victory lap on Tuesday, May 19th at 10:30 a.m. Think Win-Win, by showing our current Crocs the value of education and graduating from High School. Last year, 22 former Crocs came and were honored and graced the auditorium stage for a reunion picture. Come dressed in your cap and gown and meet at the front office at 10:15. Light refreshments will be served after the Victory Lap. Can’t wait to see you again and hear what your future plans will be! Please relay the message to other former Crocs. We’d love to see many more!🐊

Sometimes in life, you’re not always given a 2nd chance, but if you do, take advantage of it and go out with a bang! This 3rd grader got a 2nd chance to buy the Principal’s chair for a day, and she is enjoying every second of learning in comfort!

A 5th Grader cashed in for the Principal’s chair this morning. Will this be the start of the new cool trend?

Cherry Creek is fortunate to have a fantastic PTA, powered by enthusiastic and energetic parents. The week before Spring Break, the PTA celebrated Staff Appreciation Week. The faculty was treated to decorated doors, delicious lunches, a yummy nacho bar, Sodalicious drinks and cookies. A BIG Croc Shout Out to all those who helped with Staff Appreciation Week!

Mark your calendars! 🗓️✨

Crocs are lucky to have Mrs. Beach at Cherry Creek. She was recently recognized as Classified Employee of the Year. She has been at Cherry Creek since 2006, when it was converted from a middle school. Mrs. Beach helps students develop their English skills. She is also a great help in translating day to day and especially on SEP nights. Congratulations Mrs. Beach!

Think Win-Win…that’s what Leaders and Friends do at Cherry Creek. A 4th grader in Mrs. Deardeuff’s class thought it would be extra special to surprise her friend for her birthday. She spent her hard earned Croc Cash to buy Principal Darrington’s chair so her friend could celebrate in comfort. Happy Birthday Skater Girl!

A 3rd Grader in Mrs. Ree’s class used her Croc Cash to get a photo with Crocky. How fun is that!

The 1st Graders love to save up their Croc Cash for the Principal’s chair. Another 1st Graders starts out the week, learning in comfort and style! Enjoy!

Here’s the Finalists in our Math March Madness Competition. Our winners will be announced at our Victory Assembly.

1st Grade continues to show their school spirit. Mrs. Anderson’s First Grade class takes the Spirit Day trophy this week. Congratulations!

Two 5th Grade Crocs decided that they wanted to inspire people so they came and put all sorts of really sweet positive signs up all over the school yesterday on peoples windows to make them feel happy about themselves. What awesome examples of Being the Good in the World and inspiring others to do the same. These two are good examples of Habit 4: Think Win-Win.
